Operated by the granddaughter of the original owners, 3rd generation Capt Iris Clarke officiates aboard the "Selina II” wearing formal whites to complete the nautical theme.. Typically ships’ captains are not permitted to perform weddings, but onboard the “Selina II”, Capt Iris Clarke is also an ordained minister, allowing her to offer you a customized ceremony from traditional to alternative, creating your own personalized Love Boat experience.
“Selina II’s” packages start at $500 , a savings of up to $750 over a typical Cruise Liner’s package starting at $1250. Whether it’s a portside wedding or a wedding under sail, “Selina II” packages include Decorations, Ships Flowers, Champagne Toast, Customized Vows, Officiant Fees and Maryland State Taxes.
Selina II’s staff helps couples skip the stress of working with wedding planners by creating a personalized nautical event to treasure through each anniversary. Brides can choose from an array of ceremony enhancements including Photography, Videography, live bag piper, premium wedding cake, custom music program, etc.
With full sails up, “Selina II’s” brightly polished bronze and freshly varnished wood sets the stage for wedding photographs that are unforgettable. The soft sound of water lapping on her hull creates a relaxed atmosphere for every ship board ceremony. Especially suited to second marriages and elopements, “Selina II’s” 1926 Gatsby era elegance simply says ‘upscale and romantic‘.

Ceremony Under Sail : From St. Michaels harbor, the trip last 2 hours, and we can accommodate up to six passengers. Weather permitting the wedding isperformed under sail. The fee includes the sail, Maryland State amusement tax, Capt Iris' officiant fee, a customized ceremony and champagne toast. Capt Iris offers a range of ceremonies from traditional to alternative, or your family pastor is welcome to come aboard and perform the wedding. The fee is $500except Saturday evenings when the rate is $650.
Gratuities for the mate should be like a restaurant, 15-20% depending on service, and should be in cash the day of the wedding. Our crew is very good at taking photos and they earn their tips!
The Bridal Package: For dockside weddings Selina II will come to any dock in the St. Michael'sarea.The ceremony is on board with up to 16 members of the wedding party, with unlimited number of guests looking on from the dock. The price includes up to 2 hours use of the boat for rehearsal the day before, and 2 hours use of the boat the day of, $1000.
The Plus Package: Includes the Bridal Package plus an additional 2 hours of post-ceremony time. Optionally the bride can arrive with her bridesmaids on board the boat to the wedding site. The additional time can be used either for wedding photos or multiple mini sails during the reception, max 6 guests per trip, $2000
Any Port Package: Includes the Plus Package plus the opportunity to have Selina II come to almost any waterfront location on Chesapeake Bay. Optionally the bride can arrive with her bridesmaids on board the boat to the wedding site. Also available is a romantic departure from the reception with sails up headed to your honeymoon. No time limit, Selina II is yours all day, $3000
Photos Only Package: Wedding photos on board (between chapel & reception?) 2 hours, $250
Capt. Iris is available to officiate a range of ceremonies from traditional to alternative, or your family pastor is welcome to come aboard and perform the wedding.
